   Costa Developers' Homeowners Happy to Obtain Residency Status


When Kelvin and Dana Owen received a knock on the door of their beautiful two-story Carara model home in Costa Montaña a few weeks ago, they were thrilled to find out that they are now official residents in Costa Rica. Costa Rica Tourism Up in First Quarter of 2010

Tourism is up in the first quarter of 2010, according to a recently released report from the Costa Rican Tourism Bureau, ICT (Instituto Costariccense de Turismo). The increased number of tourists visiting Costa Rica during the first three months of 2010 are good indicators of recovery from the worldwide economic slowdown, according to ICT Minister Allan Flores.

We are happy to post the latest pictures of all the miles and miles of roadwork now complete in Costa Reserva where dozens of earth moving, compacting and road building vehicles and equipment have been hard at work all through the dry season and well into the rainy season building beautiful hand-laid brick paver roads all throughout the community.

    ICE To Improve GSM Coverage On The San José - Caldera Top

Driving along the new San José - Caldera highway to the Pacific coast is now just a short half hour ride that takes you straight through the mountains without all the twists and turns of the old highway. And even through those mountains, cell service on the route will soon be improved because recently the Superintendencia de Telecomunicaciones (SUTEL) sent a note to the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad (ICE) to improve coverage along the new highway. >>CLICK HERE FOR FULL ARTICLE!

    B.E.A.C.H. Holds First Meeting Top

Beaches of Esterillos Association of Community Helpers (B.E.A.C.H.) held its first meeting at the beautiful Costa Developers Viscaya model home of Mary and Dan Douglass in Costa Esterillos Estates. Along with homeowners from Costa Esterillos Estates, many residents from the surrounding communities attended to get to know one another and exchange ideas on how to keep the beautiful beaches of Esterillos stunning and safe for all to enjoy.

    Coastal Cuisine Chef Mary Beth "Fired up!" on Food Network's "Chopped" Top


Our very own Mega Yacht Chef Mary Beath of Coastal Cuisine has landed on the Food Network's reality cooking series “Chopped.” She debuted on Season 4's Episode 4.7 on June 1st, 2010. She battled 3 other chefs in an episode called “Fired Up!”
